It starts back off with the default slice locations. Because you have already committed to your slices, you are currently not able to go back to slice and add another slice. Now and then, I will get a creative spark and want to go back and maybe add another slice to the equation. I then press “apply” as I think I am happy with my slice selections. I think that the slice feature should retain your slice history/choices after you press “apply.” There are many times where I use the slice function to do my chops manually by starting with one chop and adding them as I go along. I have a feature suggestion/revision that I have been thinking about for a long time.
